How to set autocad drawing sheet


Autocad can be a little difficult to understand especially when you're new to the whole CAD software thing. don't worry caue in this tutorial. I'll be covering the two basics of setting your autocad up.

I'm going to assume you're new to these things, so please bear with me as we go along the tutorial.

The two areas i'll be covering in these tutorial are:

• unit configuration settings
• annotation settings

There's a way autocad works with precision  which makes them part of starting any design in autocad.

I know you're excited to draw your first line but before we go any further. There some questions I'll like to address.

Alright, now that were familiar with autocad. we can get set your autocad up for design.

As I mentioned earlier. before drawing any thing on autocad. You have 
to set the following.

Unit configuration

Click on the red upper case "A" at the top left corner of the screen-Notice the drop down menu.

Hover your cursor on the "Drawing utilities" to click on the Units in the submenu-to set your drawing unit.

Setting Annotation

Click on the scale menu at the bottom right corner to choose the scale you desire. 

Now you see, setting autocad is not as hard as most beginners think it is. All you have to do is follow this step-by-step tutorial and you won't be wrong.
